This is a Students’ blog. It is a platform for us, the Students of School of Health Systems Studies (SHSS) to express our ideas; but please note the word “IDEA”. An idea, a product of human mind...there is no guarantee of it being right but that doesn’t mean that we cannot express it! The blog is not a peer-reviewed journal or a sponsored publication. That does mean something…it means that information here is the product of our brain which is under evolution at SHSS and it is UNPROOFED and UNREVISED.

The opinions expressed by the SHSS Student Bloggers and those providing comments are theirs alone, and do not reflect the opinions of the School of Health Systems Studies or any employee thereof. TISS International Student's Cultural Festival 2009

The annual TISS International Student's Cultural Festival 2009 will take place at the TISS Convention Centre, Naoroji Campus on November 14, 2009 from 6:30 pm onwards. The preparation for this event has been in full swing with numerous meetings, phone calls and the ubiquitous e-mail.

During this fest, various scrumptious International dishes will be prepared and served, but the details of which are being kept secret, as of all good things are.  Along with this, music (DJ NITE) and fashion shows will be the highlight of the night where the stars will shine down upon TISS and the most happening hub for Mumbai for the night will be where you ought to be.

At a rough estimate, TISS have around 50 international students from around the world and the mix of their music, skills, and culture is believed to be a feast to the eyes, and it is with great fervour that stonger cordial relations will be established in this cultural festival. So, pull up your socks and get ready to face the euphony...!!

NB: If any person or group(s) wants to perform any item from SHSS, please contact at the earliest - Lalhmangaih Hauzel, Literary Representative, School of Health Systems Studies, TISS. Ph: 98333 55223
